When you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome pack with your collection schedule and service details. You will receive separate bins for each type of waste. If you lose or damage one, please contact us and we will arrange a replacement.

Types of Household Bins

• Brown Bin
  (140L or 25L | Route dependant)
  Your brown bin is for organic waste such as leftover food, vegetable peels, grass cuttings, and dead flowers. Many people ask, “are brown bins free?”, please note, charges may vary by local authority.
  
• Large Blue Bin
  (240L / 140L)
  This recycle bin is for recyclables like clean and dry paper, plastic bottles, cans, cartons, and packaging. By using your blue bin, you support our recycling facility. This process properly sorts waste into recycled materials, reduces landfill, and reduces waste overall.
  
• Large Green Bin
  (240L / 140L | Also available in black or burgundy)
  This is your general waste bin, used for items that cannot be recycled or composted. Examples include food-contaminated packaging, broken plates, sweepings, bulkier items and vacuum cleaner bags.
  
• Glass Caddy
  (25L | Route dependant)
  Use this glass bin for all jars, bottles, and similar items. This service is available alongside civic amenity sites and recycling centres for convenient glass recycling.
  
• Home Composters
  Available on request, ideal for kitchen waste and garden cuttings. These complement your organic bin and encourage home composting.
